We absolutely love San Diego, so anytime we get a chance to visit, we make it happen. Our little sister from Japan was visiting Los Angeles so we drove down to San Diego for a mini vacation. The weather was ideal and we felt utterly grateful for the perfect weather conditions during our visit.

Here is an in-depth look at what we wore in San Diego from March 21–24. The mornings and evenings were a bit chilly in the low 60s, but it was warm during the day in the high 70s.

OUTERWEAR

We each packed a couple of different coats for our trip to San Diego. The advantage of driving there was that we didn't need to worry about packing light.

Blazers

We are huge fans of blazers, and some brands we have found to have a diverse selection to choose from are Everlane and Anthropologie. Blazers are truly versatile pieces that effortlessly elevate any outfit, adding a touch of sophistication and style. Whether paired with jeans for a casual chic look or worn over a dress for a formal occasion, blazers are a wardrobe staple piece.

Coats

Candy wore Anine Bing’s Kaia Blazer and it’s definitely heavier than your typical blazer, making it feel more like a coat. This was perfect since Candy tends to get cold easily, so a heavier blazer keeps her comfy.

Crystal wore her new 100% Suede Biker Jacket from Quince and paired it with a black chiffon midi skirt. Biker jackets are a classic, timeless design that is not only stylish but comfortable as well.

During the daytime, we found that our coats were unnecessary as the weather was mild, allowing us to get by comfortably with just a light sweater or sometimes even a short sleeve shirt.

Wearing comfortable shoes is a must for us, especially now that our feet aren't as youthful and are quite sensitive to any discomfort. I can't recall the last time we actually put on a pair of high heels.

Converse is a great classic footwear brand and their shoes pretty much match any casual outfit. Our favorite styles are the Chuck Taylor All Star Canvas and Converse Chuck 70 Vintage Canvas.
