Ever since I heard about Chernobyl, I have been fascinated by the catastrophic event. I was prepared to come here solo because I knew I wouldn’t have very many friends or family that would want to come with me (understandably). While I was visiting Chernobyl, I had a lot of friends message me about the site. They all had the same question: Is it safe to visit?
