Go The Chic Route in Monochrome

Just because you're traveling, it doesn't mean your wardrobe has to suffer. In fact, you're not working so why not travel in style (comfortably of course)? Black and white has been all over the runways this season and I couldn't be happier. I've always had a love for monochrome. It's perfect for all seasons and for traveling. It's sleek, sophisticated, classic, and effortlessly chic. Yes, it's colorless, but don't fret there are ways to make that outfit pop. Play with textures, silhouettes, accessories, and layering. It will give your outfit massive style.

1. T-Strap Dress

This dress has been one of my favorites this summer. It has a sexy back and is the perfect loose fit dress. The dress is far from frumpy and shapeless and is especially ideal for layering this fall.

2. Flutter Shorts

It's the comfort meets style bottoms. I love mini skirts, but they can also be difficult. With the flutter shorts, it's the skirt that keeps the sight of your skivvies intact. You can ride a bike and do all those things you would think twice about doing if you were wearing a mini skirt.

3. Midi Skirt

If you don't like mini skirts and can't stand a maxi, than the midi is for you. It's the quintessential skirt to transition from Spring to Fall. Pair it with booties, but make sure that they've got a pointed-toe silhouette. Avoid chunky styles with a rounded toe. They have a tendency to come off slightly stumpy and we don't want that!
