When we are traveling with our pups, Saint Rue is our go-to brand when it comes to chic accessories for both us and our dogs. Not only do they focus on functionality, but their bold eye-catching designs have a very sophisticated aesthetic.
We both have pet travel bags for our dogs, but we were itching for something more when we were out and about with our fur babies. Some of us dog moms (especially Candy), want to coordinate our looks with our pups and dog brands like Saint Rue are embracing this trend.
City Leash
Most standard leashes are six feet long, which is pretty lengthy. If you’re a dog parent, you probably wrap the leash around your wrist two or three times or the leash gets tangled more times than you can count.
It’s tiresome and not something you want to mess with especially when you are exploring new areas. It’s one thing walking down your neighborhood in a familiar environment, but when you are traveling and walking in unfamiliar territory, having a shorter leash definitely comes in handy.
The City Leash is forty-two inches (3.5’), which is the perfect length for keeping your fur baby by your side. The leash is 1.75” wide which is also thicker than your standard leash. Saint Rue sells two different city leash designs. I couldn't decide between the two so ended up purchasing both of them.
City Leash Padded
The padded leash features a deluxe neoprene padding, which keeps your hands comfortable and secure at all times. Neoprene is a fantastic fabric choice because it is durable, waterproof, and comfortable.
City Leash Fur
I immediately fell in love with the fur leash and had to have it. The long-pile faux fur shearling looks so cozy and it’s such a fun and unique feature. I especially like to use this leash during the colder months as it keeps my hands cozy.
City Mini
I’m pretty sure it’s not just me, but getting the matching waste bag for your leash is pretty standard, right? The City Mini is a waste bag, but not your average bag dispener. It’s also a chic mini bag that you can wear as a purse or belt bag. It’s trendy, ridiculously cute, and is large enough to hold things like keys, chapstick, and credit cards.
I like to keep dog treats in my City Mini. No matter where I go, I like to reward my pups when they are being good. The discreet opening to pull the waste bags out never gets caught and the sturdy magnetic closure makes it easy to access the treats immediately.
City Petit
If you want something that holds just your pup’s waste bags, then the City Petit is fantastic. It’s adorable and holds one standard waste bag roll. My favorite part of this design is the handy strap on the back where you can slide your leash in and keep your bag snug.
Just keep in mind that this slide feature can only be used with the Le Classic or Le Sport dog leashes, which are different collections from Saint Rue.
City Collar
Just like the City Leash, the City Collar is bold and eye-catching. The buckle locks in with one click which makes it super easy to put on and take off. I also appreciate that the collar is lightweight and wider than most collars. Having that extra width provides extra comfort for your pup.
City Strap
The fun part about Saint Rue is twinning with your pup. The City Strap is designed to match perfectly with the City Leash, City Collar, or City Mini. I attach my City Strap to anything that is detachable like my purse, camera, and even my phone. The options are plentiful and I continue to discover new ways to accessorize the City Strap.
City Belt
There are two ways I wear the City Belt. I sometimes wear it by itself as a belt or occasionally I use the sleeve on the back of the City Mini and wear the City Mini as a waist bag. I also purchased a gorgeous bag (it’s no longer sold on their site, but they have other amazing bags) where I can use the bag as a clutch, belt bag, or chest fanny pack.
Wait, There’s More!
The City Collection is by far my favorite, but there is so much more. Bandanas, necklaces, shoelaces, hoodies, harnesses, and many more matching goodies for both you and your pup. Her first collection called the Le Classic is what initially drew me in.
Forever Guarantee
Accidents happen and Saint Rue has an exceptional lifetime warranty. If your pup chews on the leash or you accidentally damage the collar, they will happily replace it.
Saint Rue also donates 10% of its proceeds to the National Alliance on Mental Illness. I’m signed up for their newsletters and occasionally I get a newsletter that reveals how much they have donated. I really appreciate their transparency and donation updates.
Even if you don’t have pets, Saint Rue would make a wonderful gift for dog moms or dads. The entire collection is definitely next-level chic and not your average dog accessory.
