Have you seen those beautiful palm tree-lined streets in Los Angeles and ever wondered where the heck people took those photos? Well, we had the exact same question and were determined to find out. We searched online and we saw a ton of blog posts showing off their amazing photos, but none of them actually gave an address to the location.

Candy lived in West Hollywood for four years and drove by countless streets with lined palm trees, but none of them looked like it was safe enough to jump out in the middle of the road to snap a picture. We even asked a handful of local friends and everyone pretty much had the same answer, “They are all over Beverly Hills. Just Google it.”

Not quite the answer we were looking for since we didn’t have the luxury of time to drive around Beverly Hills all day. What we needed were the exact cross streets to type into our GPS. Also, Googling it wasn’t much help either.

We also had to make sure the location had minimal traffic and easy parking. We eventually got a few answers after asking in a couple of LA-focused Facebook groups. We jotted down the cross streets and after driving around Beverly Hills one early morning, we found two locations. The second one was the perfect spot!

If you are visiting Beverly Hills and aren’t able to take photos in the morning, the third location on our list is a fantastic spot to take pictures. We visited this location on a Sunday afternoon and saw a handful of others taking photos here as well.

N. Beverly Drive + Carmelita Way

The first cross street we stopped at was on N. Beverly Drive + Carmelita Way. This would be a fairly busy street during the day, but at sunrise, there was very little traffic. Street parking wasn’t available until 8 AM, but since it was so early in the morning, we just parked next to where we were shooting so that we could hop back in the car within moments if need be.

After snapping a few photos, we weren’t sure if this was THE spot we were looking for. It just didn’t have that perfect shot of the classic lined trees, so we decided to try another location. Luckily, the second spot was just a few blocks down the street.

Carmelita Ave. + N Hillcrest Rd.

Bingo! This was the spot we were looking for. Not only was the location perfect and beautiful but it was in a residential area which made traffic pretty much nonexistent and parking was plentiful. Being that this street is in a residential area, we tried our best to take pictures quickly and quietly so that we wouldn’t disturb anyone. We love how the sunrise was giving these palm trees a gorgeous golden glow.

N Canon Dr. + Park Way

We happened to find this location by surprise when we stopped by to take some photos of the famous Beverly Hills sign. The sign is located at Beverly Gardens Park, which is typically a busy tourist destination (you’ll see tour buses here). There are a handful of parking spots here, but they are usually full, so your best bet is to find street parking.

You will have to be a bit patient taking photos here since there is more traffic on this street, especially during the day. Another great thing about this location is that there is a very clean public restroom at Beverly Gardens Park.

Alfred’s Coffee - 8428 Melrose Place

We were pretty happy to have found the spot we were looking for and afterward, we headed to West Hollywood. We wanted to grab a light treat and some drinks at Alfred’s Coffee. We like that they are open early (7 AM) since it’s hard to find a coffee shop in this area that is open before 8 AM.

If you want some tea, you can walk across the street to the Alfred’s Tea Room, but keep in mind they open at 8 AM.
