Feel Like a Princess at Disney’s Be Our Guest Restaurant

I have been waiting months to dine at one of the newest restaurants in Disney World at Be Our Guest Restaurant. It's a Beauty and the Beast themed restaurant located within the Magic Kingdom amusement park and you get to meet the Beast himself!

This restaurant is so popular that you have to book 6 months in advance to get your seat in the ballroom. I waited patiently and when the day finally came, I couldn't hold in my excitement! Be Our Guest Restaurant is located in the back of Fantasyland (the newest addition to Magic Kingdom) and you will see a bridge leading to the castle.

You check in up front before the gate and when it's near your reservation time, one of the Beast's servants will come greet you and take you to your seat. You are asked if you want to carry his friend, Lumiere, with you to the table and of course my answer was YES!

The main dining room, the Ballroom

We walked through the big wooden doors and into the beautiful and spacious ballroom. There are three rooms in the restaurant: The middle room is the main dining room a.k.a. The Ballroom, the room to the right is the Rose Gallery and the room the left is the West Wing and holds the Enchanted Rose where you can see petals falling one by one.

Our dining table was nicely decorated with a napkin folded as a rose. As we were looking through the menu, I noticed the large windows in the ballroom had snowfall projected outside. What a nice touch!

We felt like we were really in the mountains in winter with the winter scene outside the windows

We ordered the Braised Beef and Pan-seared Chicken Breast. Both dishes were very good and we would recommend them for sure. The balsamic caramelized onions had so much flavor and the beef just melted in your mouth. The chicken was nice and moist with the vegetables cooked perfectly. Some other dishes we thought about trying were the Pork Chop, Layered Ratatouille and the Grilled Strip Steak.

We were sat at a tiny table made of marble with cute rose-folded napkins

While we were waiting for our entrees, one of the servants called everyone's attention to let them know that the Beast was coming through. As the Beast walked around the dining rooms, he stopped by some tables to greet the guests. Everyone was so excited, especially the little girls that came dressed as Belle, which was so adorable.

For dessert, our waiter approached us with the dessert cart and there were so many pretty looking desserts, but we only chose to try one since we were both pretty full from our entrees. We went with the Chocolate Cream Puff because the waiter said it was light and not as sweet as the others and indeed it was just that! If you're a huge Beauty and the Beast fan, they also have a dessert called "The Grey Stuff", a play off of Lumiere encouraging Belle to "try the grey stuff".

The gracious Beast taking silly photos with us

Once we finished our meals, we headed over to the Beast to take a picture with him in his study. He was very gracious and went along with our silly poses.

We had such a great time at this restaurant and so happy we finally got to experience it!
